OUR SCHOOL FACILITIES
The school playground is equipped with all the facilities of outdoor sports such as Running, kho-kho, Shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, Baseball, volleyball, football, Hockey etc.
The new initiative by the management of ZCET has created a revolution in the School. The use of smart class has led to learning the content which incorporates process of cognitive learning to provide the best possible teaching aids and learning solutions The use of smart class has led to better concept explanation, it increases level of understanding of students and help children improve their performance. It enhances learning by using multimedia based animations, graphics and videos to explain the concepts in a very interactive and intuitive manner. The initiative empowers the school to provide state of the art classrooms to its students with smart boards, multimedia content which provides audio and visual learning facilities .
In the present curriculum the importance of lab has increased due to the fact that students cannot learn properly unless they conduct the experiment themselves. Keeping in mind the theory of learning by doing the school has following labs:
- Physics Lab : The high tech physics lab is well equipped with all the apparatus required for better understanding of the subject and various scientific laws till class XII
- Chemistry Lab : The high tech chemistry lab is equipped with the latest and high standard equipment and chemicals required upto class XII.
- Bio Lab : The bio lab contains each and every sample, specimen and equipment required upto class XII.
- Language Lab : The language lab has been equipped with the latest apparatus for enhancing the speaking skills, listening skills and personality development.
- Maths Lab : The idea of math lab has been conceptualized to make the children understand the fundamentals of the subject effectively. The apparatus like Abacus, Geo-lard, Water Analogous Model etc. are used for better understanding of various topics of Arithmetic Mensuration, Trigonometry etc.
- Computer Lab : St. Mary's school has two well equipped computer labs. Computer education is imparted students from class 1 to 12.
Dance and Drama help children develop their personalities, gain self confidence and improve communication skills. Children develop fluency in movements and actions and learn to express themselves emphatically in a creative manner. Children learn singing as well as playing simple musical instruments helping them appreciate variety of music traditional and modern.ST MARY’S is the only school which boasts of a SCHOOL ORCHESTRA formed by its own students.
St. Mary's takes pride in announcing to all its patrons that our institution has collaborated with 'MY STEM LABS' to foster excellence and impart 'EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING'.
Through innovative learning aids provided by 'My Stem Labs', the students will acquire core STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics] knowledge; and apply the basic concepts of STEM to real-world situations.
This will stimulate their thought processes, analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Every individual student from Grade 1 to 10 will have the opportunity to explore and work on STEM activities in conjunction with their Science curriculum.
These activities will develop their motor skills, their scientific temperament, and eventually train their young minds towards innovation.
